Bioware hasn’t forgotten Mac users and Star Wars: The Old RepublicNews
Unfortunately it does not look like Mac users can expect a port any time soon, but it is on the minds of the decision makers over at Bioware.
Joystiq.com spoke with Bioware label leads Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk and they are well aware of the demand saying, “We know there’s a big Mac audience of BioWare fans … we know that’s an important and large audience. And we want to serve that audience.”
They made it pretty clear that it was not something that gamers should expect soon considering Bioware’s current priority of a completely successful launch of the game first. In regard to the game appearing on the Mac platform, “that’s definitely one of the things we’re looking at next. We want to get this launch under our belt and everything stabilized and happy, and then we’ll look at other platforms, and that’s obviously one of the first ones,” Zeschuck said.
For now, if you are a Mac user and you want to play Star Wars: The Old Republic then you will have to play around with Windows partitions for the time being.
